Paul McLean-Thorne is a Director at Seminel, a specialist Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM) business & IT consultancy. At Seminel, Paul has
been involved not only in ETRM business analysis and systems implementation but also in the creation of a decision support framework.
Prior to Seminel, Paul worked for 20 years at business and IT consultancies including Accenture, Sapient, Cap Gemini, Logica and EDS as well as at
Citibank.
Paul has undertaken projects with clients such as ATEL, BP, ConocoPhillips, DONG, EdF, E.ON, Essent (RWE), Halliburton, Nuon (Vattenfall), Shell and
StatoilHydro in the Energy Industry, S&W Berisfords (Enodis) in Commodities as well as BoA Merrill Lynch, BFCE, Citibank, Credit Lyonnais, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Morgan
Euroclear, NCB, NMB and Rabobank in the Finance Sector.
In these projects Paul has been involved in the deployment of Oil, Gas, Coal, Power, Commodities and Financial products in Europe, US and Asia across
Front, Middle, Back Office, Operations and Accounting.
Paul has experience at every level of ETRM IT implementation:
